Wukulele jam was a Christmas party edition and I hung my wonky hand-cut paper bunting over Worthing Rowing Club's tree. In a room packed with merry ukulele players it was lovely to see familiar faces from the early days of Brighton Ukulele Sundays coming 'home' to Wukulele for Christmas.
We belted through the Bad Love songbook, rocked the room with Reet Petit and a surprisingly rousing rendition of Chanson D'Amour. Our reworking of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Relax was word perfect, rather shocking and very silly. I don't think it's been uke-jammed anywhere else.
A break at the rowing club bar, Harriet's home made mince pies, plenty of cheer and we were ready to launch into tunes from Taunton Ukulele Strummers Club's famous festive songbook. A perfect start to the week before Christmas.
